Corn is a staple crop widely grown in Dinh Lap-Lang Son. The main planting season begins after Lunar New Year (Tet), usually from mid-February to March every year (solar calendar).

Families who raise larger numbers of chickens, ducks, or pigs tend to grow more corn. They often use tractors to prepare the fields, with seed quantities reaching up to 5 kg per crop. Smaller households, on the other hand, may use buffaloes or hand tools for cultivation. Some families manage two to three crops a year, as each crop takes about 3.5 to 4 months from planting to harvest. The main crop is planted after Tết, and once harvested, farmers can continue with the next cycles.

At the moment, many families are harvesting the final crop of the year—the most eagerly anticipated time for local farmers. Would you like to take part in such an authentic and memorable experience?
